O Bibliotece

Filia biblioteczna w Siecieminie

12 lutego 1983 nastąpiło uroczyste otwarcie filii bibliotecznej w Siecieminie.

About the library

Library branch in Sieciemin

On February 12, 1983, the ceremonial opening of the library branch in Sieciemin took place. The library was located in the new building of the village community center.

Since June 2012, the library branch has had a full-time position, and it is open 5 days a week for 8 hours each day. The library premises underwent a thorough renovation in 2016, resulting in a bright and modern interior.

Just as in the past, today the library remains the sole cultural center in our village. It promotes reading and a broad understanding of culture through various activities, such as reader meetings, open days, and advertising new publications available at the facility.

The library organizes workshops for children during winter holidays and vacations. These workshops cover a wide range of activities: literary, artistic, creative, and sports-oriented. During holidays and breaks, excursions are also organized to make leisure time even more enjoyable for children in their local area.

Additionally, the library arranges recurring events like Teddy Bear Day, Children’s Book Day, as well as special occasions like Mother’s Day and Children’s Day. The branch participates in nationwide events such as Library Night, Cool Librarian, All of Poland Reads their Kids, and National Reading. All of these efforts contribute to making the library a popular destination.
